2004 will be the year Philip Travels Much More Than Ever Before. Kicking off the year will be my annual trip next week to visit King & Gwen & Kibble in the grand city of San Francisco. And then, in April - it's off to Sydney & Brisbane, Australia! Woo hoo! More on that later, I'm sure. If my resolve holds true, I'll have regular (daily?) updates right here.

Can you guess what one of my New Year's Resolutions is? Yup, that's right - updating my blog more frequently. Hee!

My brother Scott came to town from his nest in Kansas City and my mom travelled up from Fort Oglethorpe to spend Christmas Day at my house in Red Bank. We had a nice time. [Pictures will be posted in the Pictures Gallery]

Following in tradition of years past, Carla & Kenny/Kenneth/Sir Ken Pritchard had a combination Christmas Party/Birthday Party for their son Cameron. In addition to tasty treats and fun chats, most of us from the party went carolling by the light of candles, wandering down Fair St (and some of Berkely) singing Christmas Carols to the neighbors. Dan Landrum was voted the Music Director this year - he'll be a fine musician some day! Afterwards we returned to the Pritchard's current home and pulled apart Christmas poppers. And, naturally, I was able to continue my own part of the tradition by placing various cups all around their house, much to the delight of Carla and Kenny. Well, that last part may be a little over-stated. Good times!

Tonight I had fun hanging out with the staff of the Chattanooga Pulse - the new weekly paper that debuted only a couple weeks ago! I salute Zach, Mike, Bill, and Eric for taking the leap of faith and making their dream real. Check it out - racks of Pulses are more and more places around Chattanooga!
